The Bruin Nation is an organization formed to promote youth distance running within the greater Sam Barlow High School community. We provide developmental running & athletic programs for K-5th grade and competitive Cross Country & Track programs for Middle School (6-8th Grade) and High School (9-12th Grade). We also serve as the Booster Club for Sam Barlow High School’s Cross Country Team, “Barlow XC”.

Reduced to $90 as of 10 Oct for athletes joining late in the season. Will cover entry to three meets.
Registration fees for the season are $125 per athlete or $300 maximum per family. Please register each athlete individually. If you are registering 3 or more athletes from the same family, please email director@bruinnation.org for separate invoicing. Registration fees include practices, a training T-shirt and a meet fees for a minimum of 4 BNXC race opportunities during the regular season. It does not include a race singlet, or USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country Season (State, Regional, National). We never want money to prevent any athlete from participating, so we offer need-based scholarships. Middle School (6th-8th Grade) Practices begin Tuesday, Aug 16th, 2022 but athletes may join anytime.
